During peak periods and holidays, order processing times may be extended due to increased order volume.
While we always work to prepare orders as quickly as possible, preparation may take 2–5 business days during these times before the order is shipped.
We appreciate your patience during the holiday season and thank you for your understanding.
1. Hot-Season Shipping (April to October)
To ensure freshness during warmer months, we follow special shipping rules for temperature-sensitive items:
- All perishable or melt-prone products (meat, dairy, caviar, chocolate, etc.) are shipped Monday to Wednesday (cut-off: 12 p.m. ET).

Zone 1: Perishable items ship normally via FedEx Home Delivery® or FedEx Standard Overnight® (with dry ice) — no restrictions.

Zones 2–3: Some perishable items can be shipped via FedEx Home Delivery® or FedEx Standard Overnight® (with dry ice), but we strongly advise using FedEx Standard Overnight®. If you choose Home Delivery®, you accept full responsibility for any spoilage or quality loss in transit.

Zones 4–6 (incl. AK & HI): Perishable products must ship via FedEx Standard Overnight® only.

- We use extra ice packs and thermal liners to keep your order cool in transit.
- Orders containing perishable items placed after Wednesday noon will ship the following Monday.
2. Service Overview
GoStockUp ships every order from our temperature-controlled warehouse in Oceanside, New York. We currently offer:

3. Order Processing & Shipping
- Processing time – In-stock orders are packed within 1-2 business days; high-volume or bulk orders may take up to 3 business days.
- Perishable handling fee – $5.99 per EPS cooler box.
- This fee covers the cost of insulated EPS boxes, gel ice packs, dry ice, thermal liners, and additional packaging materials required to safely ship refrigerated and frozen products.
- Bottle Deposit Fee (CRV & State Programs)
- Certain states (CA, CT, HI, ME, MI, OR, and others with container deposit programs) require an additional bottle/can deposit fee on eligible beverage containers. This fee is set by state law and automatically applied at checkout when shipping to those states. GoStockUp does not keep this fee — it is remitted in compliance with state recycling programs.
- Shipping days – We ship Monday–Friday. Orders placed after 11 a.m. ET start processing the next business day.
- Carrier – All U.S. orders ship exclusively via FedEx.
- Weekend hold prevention – If transit time exceeds 3 days, we ship Mon–Wed to avoid weekend delays.
- Out-of-stock items – If missing items total < 10 % of your order, we’ll ship the rest and refund the difference automatically.
- Payment – Charged securely at checkout when the order is placed.
- Service limits – No shipments to P.O. Boxes, APO/FPO addresses, or international destinations at this time.

High-Value Order Verification (Fraud Prevention)
For your security, orders $500+ (or any order flagged by our fraud screening) may require additional verification before shipment. We may place a temporary hold while we verify:-
A reply from the purchaser confirming the order, and

A clear photo of a government-issued ID (driver’s license or passport). You may mask the ID number; we only verify name and address.
If verification is not completed within 48 hours, we may cancel and refund the order. We reserve the right to ship only to the billing address or a previously verified address, and to require adult signature upon delivery. Verification documents are used solely to confirm identity and are deleted after review.

4. Perishable Item Shipping
- Packaging: All perishable items are placed inside rigid EPS cooler boxes with gel ice packs, carefully measured to maintain cold temperature during transit. We are actively working with our packaging suppliers to transition to PFAS-free materials in compliance with evolving state regulations, including California Health & Safety Code §109000.
- Shipping method: From April to October, perishable items must ship with cold-chain protection. In Zones 1–3 they may be shipped via FedEx Home Delivery® (with dry ice) or FedEx Standard Overnight®. In Zones 4–6 (incl. AK & HI), they must be shipped via FedEx Standard Overnight® only.

Free-Shipping Interaction
Holiday free U.S. shipping (§8) is available only when the order meets the subtotal threshold after discounts and the ≤50 lb total shipment weight limit. Perishable routing requirements (e.g., Overnight to Zones 4–6) still apply and may affect rate availability.
Transit Risk Notice
We pack every order in protective bubble wrap (or other cushioning) and, when needed, sealed EPS coolers with pre-calculated ice packs. Despite these measures, rare breakage, leakage or temperature loss can occur after a parcel is handed to FedEx or another third-party carrier. Because these events are outside our control, GoStockUp is not liable for damage or spoilage that happens while the shipment is in the carrier’s possession. For claim instructions, please see “Placing & Receiving an Order” (§5) or contact the carrier directly.
5. Placing & Receiving an Order
- Double-check your shipping address before placing your order. We are not responsible for delivery issues due to incorrect or incomplete addresses. Shipping charges are non-refundable, and a restocking fee of up to 20% may apply for undeliverable orders.
- Inspect your package upon delivery. If it arrives damaged, please take clear photos and contact the shipping carrier directly to initiate a claim.
- Order issues must be reported within 24 hours of delivery. Please email us at customerservice@gostockup.com with your order number and photos.
- We do our best to ship on time, but carrier delays due to weather or unforeseen events are beyond our control. Title and risk of loss pass to you when the shipment is accepted by the carrier or local courier.

Tracking:
- NYC Local Delivery: Tracking is not currently available. You'll receive an email confirmation once your order has been delivered.
- U.S. Shipping: A FedEx tracking number will be sent via email or SMS once the label is created.
- Discount Codes & Thresholds
- Free shipping and shipping credits are calculated on the subtotal after discounts. If a promo code reduces your subtotal below a threshold, the corresponding benefit will not apply unless you increase your cart subtotal again.
6. NYC Local Delivery (including Nassau County)
Cut-off & Schedule:
- Orders placed by 11 a.m. ET Thursday through Monday will be delivered on Tuesday.
- Orders placed by 11 a.m. ET Monday through Wednesday will be delivered the next business day.
- Delivery window – 9 a.m.–5 p.m. ET You’ll receive a delivery confirmation email.
- Contactless drop-off – By default we leave packages at the door.
- Perishables – Packed with insulation and ice packs. Please refrigerate or freeze within 2 hours of delivery.

7. U.S. Shipping
7.1 Shipping Options & Rates
Shipping cost is calculated at checkout based on the weight, delivery date, destination state, and carrier rates.
For bulk orders over 50 lb, please contact us for a custom quote — these orders are picked and packed first.
7.2 Perishable & Temperature-Sensitive Items
- From April to October, perishable items must ship with cold-chain protection:
- Zones 1–3: FedEx Home Delivery® (with dry ice) or FedEx Standard Overnight® (with cold packaging).
- Zones 4–6 (incl. AK & HI): FedEx Standard Overnight® only.
- Ship days: Monday–Wednesday only. Orders placed after 12 p.m. ET Wednesday ship the following Monday. For overnight orders will be shipped until thursday.
- We may ship non-perishables separately so everything arrives in optimum condition. We do not ship certain raw milk cheeses to Alabama, Iowa, or Michigan, in compliance with state regulations. This includes soft and semi-soft cheeses like Brie, Camembert, Reblochon, and select raw goat cheeses aged under 60 days.
7.3 Extreme Weather & Holidays
We reserve the right to hold or ship early during heatwaves, storms, or carrier backlogs (e.g., Thanksgiving week) to protect product quality. Black-out dates will be posted at the top of this page.
In compliance with California law, products sold in or shipped to California may display a Proposition 65 warning if they contain listed substances. Additionally, beverage containers shipped to CA, CT, HI, ME, MI, or OR may incur a bottle deposit fee (CRV) automatically applied at checkout.
7.4 Promotional Shipping Credit (U.S. only)
During the holiday promotion period, U.S. orders qualify for a $25 shipping credit when the order subtotal is $200.00 or more (after discount codes, before taxes/shipping). The credit is applied to the shipping rate at checkout and does not combine with free shipping (§8).

If the order reaches the free-shipping threshold (§8), the free-shipping rate will appear and the $25 credit will no longer apply.

Non-stacking: The $25 shipping credit does not combine with free shipping (§8) or any other shipping-related promotion. If free shipping is available for your order, the shipping credit will not be applied. One benefit per order.

Weight limit: Free shipping applies to orders with a total shipment weight ≤50 lb, including all packaging materials (EPS coolers, gel/dry ice, thermal liners, tape, fillers, etc.).

Method & perishables: Shipping method is determined by product contents and zone rules in §4/§7 (e.g., perishables may require FedEx Standard Overnight®).

No stacking with credits: Free shipping does not combine with any shipping credit or other shipping discount (§7.4).

Subtotal basis: Qualification is based on order subtotal after promo codes/discounts and before taxes and shipping.

Example: Cart subtotal = $279.00; a 10% promo code lowers subtotal to $251.10 → order no longer qualifies for free shipping; you may still qualify for the $25 shipping credit if your subtotal is $200.00+ (§7.4).

Oversize/overweight: If the shipment exceeds 50 lb total or requires additional boxes that push the shipment over the limit, the free shipping option will not be available.

Remote/long-distance: Standard carrier surcharges may apply for remote ZIP codes; where free shipping cannot be offered due to carrier limitations, the best available discounted rate will be shown.
9. Tracking Routes & Delivery Issues
- Tracking – Automatic email/SMS once the label is created.
- Address changes – Once shipped, Order address can not be changed.
- Lost or stolen – If tracking shows delivered but you can’t locate the box, notify us with tracking information within 24 hours so we can open a carrier claim.
- Heat-sensitive items – Please choose a shipping speed that matches your climate and the product’s temperature requirements; GoStockUp can’t reimburse spoilage caused by an unsuitable shipping option.
10. Payment
We accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and PayPal. All payments are processed securely at checkout on our website.
If an item is unavailable at the time of packing, we’ll remove it from your order and automatically issue a refund for the missing item. You’ll only be charged for what actually ships.
11. Returns & Refunds
Because groceries are time- and temperature-sensitive, all food sales are final. We’ll issue a refund or replacement if your order arrives damaged or incorrect. Non-food merchandise may be returned within 30 days in original condition; contact customerservice@gostockup.com for additional support.
